Site Foreman

Your new role

As General Foreman, will be responsible for the daily coordination of on-site teams and subcontractors, organising work areas and ensuring compliance with the production plan established by the Site Manager.

Main Responsabilities

• Daily supervision and coordination of site teams and subcontractors;
• Planning and organisation of work areas, including the management of labour, materials and equipment;
• Ensuring compliance with the production plan, deadlines and quality standards;
• Monitoring the compliance of construction works with the project designs and technical specifications;
• Monitoring and recording production progress, supporting the Site Manager in identifying and controlling deviations;
• Implementing and monitoring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards on site;
• Managing the receipt, storage and control of materials on site.

What you need to succeed

• At least 15 years’ experience as a General Foreman, preferably on residential and/or community-use buildings;
• Strong practical knowledge of construction methods and techniques;
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation;
• Proven experience in coordinating site teams and subcontractors;
• Training in Occupational Health and Safety (an advantage);
• User-level IT skills;
• Strong organisational skills, leadership and a results-oriented approach;
• Good communication skills, dynamism and team spirit;
• Persistence and resilience, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple work fronts.
