Challenge

The construction of São Paulo’s tallest tower, standing at 220 metres, presented significant challenges due to the 2,700 m² floor slabs, an 8-day cycle per slab and the absence of standard floor plans, with constant projections, recesses and variations in the architectural plumb line.

Solutions

Confrasilvas implemented a façade formwork system capable of accommodating variations in the building’s vertical alignment. This was complemented by industrialised formwork for the core/lift shafts and columns, as well as the use of two concrete placing masts and three cranes to ensure productivity and meet the project schedule.
