Your new role

As a Site Management Trainee, will support the Site Manager in the planning, coordination, and control of construction project execution, working closely with on-site teams and ensuring effective coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.

Will have the opportunity to further develop your construction management skills in a demanding and dynamic environment, contributing to the implementation of efficient, sustainable and economically viable construction solutions.

Main Responsabilities

Assisting the Site Manager in the planning, coordination, and supervision of construction works;

Monitoring and coordinating production teams and subcontractors on site;

Supporting cost and production control, including variance analysis and the recommendation of corrective actions;

Preparation, monitoring, and updating of project schedules, measurement statements and bills of quantities;

Monitoring the compliance of construction works with the project designs and technical specifications;

Liaising with the site supervision team, designers, suppliers and subcontractors;

Assisting in ensuring compliance with Occupational Health, Safety and Hygiene standards and applicable legislation.

What you need to succeed

A degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture;

Knowledge of construction methods, project planning and cost control;

The ability to read and interpret designs and technical drawings;

Professional registration with the Portuguese Order of Engineers and/or Order of Architects (preferred);

Knowledge of planning software (MS Project or equivalent) and CCS Candy (considered an advantage);

Knowledge of BIM methodologies (considered an advantage);

Proficiency in MS Office;

Good communication and interpersonal skills;

Good organisational skills, dynamism and a results-oriented approach;

Resilience and determination, with the ability to work effectively under pressure, meet ambitious targets and manage competing priorities.
